Registration open for Drug Facts Chat Day; 2015 Drug IQ Challenge preview available

Schools can now register for Drug Facts Chat Day, NIDA’s annual Web chat that connects NIH scientists with teens around the country, at http://drugfactsweek.

Drug Facts Chat Day occurs on January 30 during National Drug Facts Week, which runs from January 26 – February 1, 2015. Transcripts from last year’s chat can be found at http://teens.drugabuse.gov/national-drug-facts-week/chat-with-scientists/2014/transcript.

Also available today is the newest National Drug IQ Challenge, a 10-question multiple choice quiz that teens and adults can take to test their knowledge about drugs: http://teens.drugabuse.gov/quiz/national-drug-facts-week/take-iq-challenge/2015. The quiz can be used at an event during National Drug Facts Week or anytime as an educational tool for teens. The interactive version of the Drug IQ Challenge will be available on the first day of National Drug Facts Week, January 26.
