The NIDA Clinical Trials Network (CTN) has launched a new website that compiles recommended common data elements for use in developing case report forms for clinical trials research. Adopting these standardized, validated data collection instruments should improve data quality and increase opportunities to compare and combine data from multiple studies and longitudinal analyses conducted by researchers from different institutions or countries.
