CPDD International Committee Selects Travel Award Recipient

The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) International Committee selected Nicolas Poliansky as the recipient of its 2018 Travel Award. NIDA, the University of Miami, and CPDD support the award for drug abuse-related researchers from low- or middle-income countries to participate in the NIDA International Forum and the CPDD Annual Scientific Meeting. A psychologist, Mr. Poliansky is director of outpatient treatment at Fundación Convivir. He specializes in dual disorders and prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse in the workplace, and supervises research projects at Fundación Convivir. Since 2015, he has led workshop assignments in community psychology at Universidad del Museo Social Argentino.
