Program Announcements (PAs) are intended to encourage further investigation in a particular area of interest to NIDA or to fill gaps in current knowledge. For a more comprehensive listing of program announcements see the Program Announcements section of NIDA's Home Page.
The Request for Applications (RFA) is a mechanism for funding projects that are of immediate interest to NIDA. Grant applications submitted under an RFA must be received within a specified time frame and are expeditiously reviewed. For a current list see the RFA section of NIDA's home page.
